We list only changes that can be checked against a source refresh, a documented calculation, or a version-controlled site update. It is not a claim that every HRSA designation change is reflected immediately; see our methodology for source timing and coverage.

August 9, 2026

• Public corrections alias. Added a /corrections redirect to the corrections process on the editorial & corrections policy, so typed or bookmarked corrections URLs resolve instead of 404ing. No data figures changed.

July 25, 2026

• Added the County Care Access Profile. The new county tool provides a server-rendered view of active primary-care, mental-health, and dental HPSA designations; HPSA severity; MUA status; and county comparisons. Its calculations use the existing HRSA-backed county and designation tables, rather than a new or estimated data source.
• Clarified published tool thresholds. The Provider Gap Calculator now identifies its HRSA primary-care shortage thresholds as external reference values. This was a source-attribution clarification, not a change to a county, state, or designation value.

Reporting a possible problem

If you spot a figure or label that appears inaccurate, use the corrections alias (the corrections process) or email hello@plainhealthaccess.com with the page URL and the figure in question. We verify reports against the relevant HRSA record, correct a confirmed issue at the data or calculation layer, and add a dated entry here when the change is published.
