My saved county profiles
County profiles you save stay only in this browser; nothing is sent to our servers.
Each card preserves the snapshot visible when you saved it. Open the county profile for the current HRSA-backed record; this list is not a release-alert service or an official designation tool.
Private snapshot comparison
Compare two saved county profiles
This compares the values you saved in this browser. It is not a live HRSA lookup, an alert, or a measure of care quality or appointment availability.
How this private comparison works
When you save a county profile, this browser keeps the active HPSA designation count, county population, peak recorded shortage score, source vintage, and save date that were visible on that profile. Selecting two cards places those saved values side by side. The designation-per-100,000 figure is a transparent normalization: saved active designations divided by saved population, then multiplied by 100,000.
That comparison can help a reader organize two records for follow-up, but it is not an HRSA designation criterion, a live status check, or a measure of care quality, appointment availability, or individual health access. Open either current county profile before relying on a record, because HRSA designation data can change between the saved vintage and today. PlainHealthAccess keeps this watchlist only in your browser and does not receive the counties you save.
County designations and scores originate in the HRSA Data Warehouse. Read the methodology for the source definitions, processing limits, and the distinction between a federal shortage designation and a comprehensive access outcome.
You have not saved a county profile yet. Browse the county directory and use “Save to my watchlist” on a county profile.
Every figure on PlainHealthAccess is rendered directly from HRSA source data, no number is typed in by an editor. This browser-local comparison uses saved county-profile values only. The per-100,000 figure divides the saved active HPSA count by the saved county population; it is not an HRSA designation criterion or a live status record. See our editorial standards & corrections policy, the methodology behind these numbers, review the public data changelog, or report a data issue for this page.
